#viltenwandkunst #wolkunst #natuurlijkinterieur #wabisabiinterior #interieurinspiratie
Sommige werken vinden hun plek hier pas later. 🤍 #femaleartist #contemporaryart #textileart #artanddesign #woolart
Sometimes a special moment becomes the beginning of a truly personal work of art. To celebrate their 7th wedding anniversary, a client commissioned a bespoke felt artwork for her husband’s office. Natural and quietly strong, with a sense of calm that feels at home in a workspace. Together, we selected the naturally dyed and hand-dyed fabrics, the size and the black box frame. The result is a unique piece from my Imperfectus series, inspired by the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, where beauty can be found in the imperfect, the natural and the unfinished. I’m happy to know the artwork has been so warmly received and will soon have a beautiful place in his office. 33 × 33 cm | bespoke artwork | Imperfectus Hand-dyed linen • natural merino wool • black box frame #slowart #woolart #duurzaamdesign #InteriorDesign #vilt
Meet my newest piece within my 'Plexus' series. Merino wool, naturally dyed with onion skins. Shaped and intertwined by hand, on natural canvas. A slow process. A quiet form. Plexus XIII — 18.5 × 18.5 cm Contemporary Wool Art #artforyourhome #woolart #FemaleArtist #felt #artanddesign
It starts with something deeply personal: your dog’s fur. 🤍 I create one-of-a-kind Remembrance Art from your dog’s own fur — carefully blended with merino wool and transformed by hand into a meaningful textile artwork. Every piece is fully made to order, created around your dog, your story and the bond you share. The fur can be transformed into different shapes and forms — from sculptural strands and knots to woven or braided elements. Together, we choose a design that feels right for you and your dog. Every piece is carefully felted, shaped and finished by hand. Even the paper pulp base is handmade from reclaimed paper, making each artwork truly unique. From the choice of materials and colours to the form, composition and finishing touches, every detail is thoughtfully considered. This is not simply art made from dog fur. It is a tangible way to honour, celebrate and hold onto a bond that means everything. Your dog. Your bond. Your story. 🤍 If you would like to have a piece created from your dog’s fur, feel free to send me a message to discuss the possibilities. #RemembranceArt #CustomPetArt #DogArt #DogLovers #FiberArt
Plexus — X 23 × 23 cm It started with nothing but wool. Twisted, braided and felted by hand, strand by strand, until a sculptural form slowly emerged. A tactile piece of contemporary wool art, created to bring texture, warmth and stillness into an interior. Plexus has now found a new home. If you are drawn to this work and would like something similar, I’m happy to create a bespoke piece, shaped around your space and personal style. Where texture meets stillness. Handmade in the Netherlands. #woolart #contemporaryinteriorart #feltart #textileart #fiberart
